Student participation of vocational education institutions in training and training practices in enterprises based on the work environment.
On 20 February 2018, the Social Integration State Agency and the Latvian Employers Confederation (hereinafter - LDDK) entered into a contract No. Sam 8.5.1/6-12.1.3./1266 on cooperation within the framework of the ESF Action Programme “Growth and Training” 8.5.1, specific support objective “Increase the number of students of qualified vocational education institutions following their participation in work-environment-based training or training practices in the enterprise” under project No 8.5.1.0/16/I/001 “Participation of students of vocational education institutions in the work environment” implemented by the LDDK environmental training and training practices in enterprises (hereinafter - Project).
Jurmala Vocational Secondary School (hereinafter - JPV) has commenced participation in the Project, in which JPV students who undertake professional secondary and vocational education programmes have the possibility to participate in the implementation of practical training and training practices that meet the requirements of qualification in enterprises.
In 1st and 2nd quarter of 2019, 15 JPV students enrolled in the qualification practice under the Project, who undertake vocational secondary and vocational training programmes.
