Labour market requirements, information technology, research and training methods in vocational education, opportunities in medicine and technical aids are changing rapidly. Therefore, the quest for continuous development for us is everyday. We have been explored and introduced many new opportunities through participation in international projects.
Since 1998, we have been working actively with partners in Latvia and abroad. Together, we are looking for new ways to create equal opportunities for people with disabilities in society and in the labour market. The European Union funds most of the exchange of experience and cooperation projects that we have applied for ourselves or responded to calls from other organisations.
In the section “Projects” you can find useful information about long-term projects that are currently being carried out by Social Integration State Agency or in which the Social Integration State Agency is a partner. In this section also can find information about the short-term projects that we have implemented in recent years (Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Socrates, Youth and other European Union programmes), and thus we have been able to improve the process of vocational aptitude assessment, develop new teaching and methodological materials and education and study programmes, and equip our premises with the latest technologies.
